We are looking for a Senior Programmatic Specialist who can use their superior research and analytical skills to determine how to optimize marketing campaigns.  A results-oriented individual who can ensure campaigns go live on time, within budget and aligned with key metrics. A decisive individual who can collect, analyze, and make sound buying and trading decisions based on reliable data.  A strong communicator who can keep clients up to date while regularly checking in with the team.   Someone who has the desire and ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment and can handle volume! 

 

What is a day in a life of a Senior Programmatic Trader at theturnlab?

 

You will work closely with the creative team to build and execute programmatic media strategies.  Through your solid planning, decision-making, and analytical skills, you will execute and optimize media trading and buying across multiple platforms.  Through your passion for the programmatic space, you will constantly look for new tools and enhancements that will elevate our ability to support our diverse portfolio of clients.   In summary, you will:

  • Ensure campaigns are executed on time and within budget. 
  • Conduct ongoing campaign analysis, optimization, and reporting.
  • Analyze data to make timely decisions on biding and buying online media.
  • Oversee overall performance and provide guidance on pacing and campaign management.
  • Participate in technical troubleshooting.
  • Track and monitor campaign billings.
  • Conduct testing of new campaigns.
  • Participate in the designing, implementing, and maintaining of processes.
  • Provide ongoing campaign recommendations to improve performance.
  • Manage all trafficking efforts.
  • Be the subject matter expert on all things programmatic and educate both internal and external teams.

 

What value will you bring to our team?

 

You will have a post-secondary education coupled with a minimum of three years of trading digital programmatic campaigns experience.  You will have demonstrated experience as a collaborator and team player with solid planning, interpersonal and communication skills. You will have the ability to analyze and interpret data to make sound trading and buying decisions.  You consider yourself someone who is self-directed and self-motivated - able to solve problems in a timely manner.  Furthermore, you will have the following:

  • Proficient in MS Office. 
  • Proven experience using various DSP’s (examples include StackAdapt, Amazon and DV360).
  • Fluent in all facets of programmatic planning/buying including display, video, native and connected TV.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate problems and recognize opportunities.
  • Superior project management skills – team player.
  • Creative problem solver, exhibiting initiative and a take-charge attitude.
  • Familiar with emergent technology trends and platforms.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detailed oriented, well organized, solid time management skills and self-motivated.
  • Solid communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team and working equally well independently.
