We are looking for a Digital/Social Media Coordinator who will assist with the planning, implementing and monitoring of our clients’ paid and social media campaigns.  Someone who has solid organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines when it comes to assisting in setting up, scheduling and/or posting paid and organic content across digital platforms.  Someone who has strong social media acumen and working knowledge of all social media platforms. Someone who has the desire and ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment.

 

What is a day in a life of a Digital/Social Media Coordinator at theturnlab?

 

You will collaborate and assist the team in the development of media briefs, vendor RFPs and other pertinent media documentation.  Using your strong coordination and planning skills along with your curiosity for social media and digital platforms, you will take part in the execution of our internal and client paid and social media campaigns and content outreach.  In summary, you will:

  • Assist with Media POVs.
  • Assist with digital reporting and trafficking.
  • Assist in setting up, scheduling and posting paid/organic content to Google Platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, etc.
  • Assist in media bookings.
  • Assist with campaign budgets.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Creative, Accounts and Project Managers).
  • Liaise with external media vendors.
  • Assist the Media Supervisor with day-to-day operations.

You will have a post-secondary education preferably in marketing, advertising and/or media.  You will bring with you a strong aptitude with digital media (online, mobile and video) and social media platforms.  You will have demonstrated experience as a collaborator and team player with solid planning, coordination and communication skills.   Furthermore, you will have:

  • Strong computer software skills particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
