Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Writing clean, well-designed code for development work.
  • Design, develop, test and maintain native mobile applications.
  • Identify and solve application issues experienced by clients.
  • Troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining the core product software to optimize, scale, and improve existing code.
  • Produce fault-tolerant, robust and maintainable code.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation.
  • See a project through, from conception to finished product.
  • Contribute to all layers of technical design, development, testing, implementation, and support for mobile stack development.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert on Android/iOS app UX best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of design principles and third-party libraries (WeChat, Facebook, etc.).
  • Experience in standard build tools and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with adding permission requests to access phone file/photo storage.
  • Familiarity with phone local storage best practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API calls and JSON messages.
  • Knowledge of phone app layout and control best practices.
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as MongoDB and MySQL
  • Application deployment to respective platform marketplaces (App Store, Google Play).
  • Demonstrated ability to take an app design from inception to implementation to delivery.
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
  • Ability to use AppCenter or similar tool to develop apps and monitor usage.
  • Ability to search code repositories like GitHub to find code/libraries to include rather than code.


  • Major contributor to at least 1 mobile application listed in App Store and Google Play.
